Bali Hati School Programs

To create a fun and effective learning activity, Bali Hati School has several excellent programs incluing

WITHOUT CANTEEN & POCKET MONEY

Students are provided healthy and high quality (non-MSG) food cooked directly from the school kitchen. The students are prohibited from carrying pocket money unless for the purpose of saving.

ENGLISH FOR COMMUNICATION

“Every student must be fluent in English”

The English for Communication Program is a program to prepare students to speak English fluently. This program is an additional program beyond the national curriculum. This English for Communication Program uses a system where students at Bali Hati School are divided based on their English language levels (Beginner, Medium, Expert) which are expected to be more effective in order to get each student has a strong English communication skill.

SWIMMING PROGRAMS

“Every student at Bali Hati School must be able to swim”

a. Students are required to consistently take part in swimming class activities that are held every two weeks.

b. Swimming is a program of Bali Hati School which optimizes the skills of students, as well as making the students as athletes (if they are passionate).

c. Extra Swimming lessons for Bali Hati School students outside class regular program.

Healty Meal

Students are required to bring a meal box and a tumbler. Students may only bring healthy meals and beverage with the following list:

Food :
Fruits, Sandwiches, Healthy Bread, Healthy Cookies, Healthy Biskuits, Healthy Noodle, Healthy Pasta, Healthy Pudding and Jelly (homemade), Healthy Meats (meatballs, nuggets, sausages), Healthy Potato, Healthy Rice, Healthy Original Seaweed

Beverage:
Mineral Water, Healthy Tea, Milk, Healthy Juice (homemade)

Cooking Class

The Cooking Class activity aims to train students to process food from the garden harvest at the school that they planted themselves.

Bali Hati Award

There are awards given to students for their positive developments in both the academic and non-academic fields. Bali Hati School believes that everyone is special. Everyone has different interests and talents so that every development that is achieved to the maximum will be given awards to motivate students to become great individual both in the academic and non-academic fields.

Parent Meeting

It is a program of parents’ meeting with the homeroom teachers which is held every three months to discuss every development of students both in academic and non-academic sides. It cannot be denied that the process of students’ development is strongly influenced by the balance between the educational patterns at school and at home. Therefore a good synergy must occur between the teachers and the parents.

Field Trip

This activity aims to invite the students to visit the educated places (direct learning). This filed trip activity is carried out 4 times in a year. This Field Trip activity is divided into two main activities, namely educational field trips and social field trips

a. Educational field trip
It’s a field trip that invites students to visit places related to science, factories, culture, business area, etc.

b. Social Field Trip
Visiting Balinese foster children and orphanages to train and increase students’ caring for others.

Yoga

This activity is to practice the concentration and focus of students. Besides, it also aims to improve students’ mental health, spiritual and physical health.

Shuttle Bus

It is a pick-up facility provided for students both on and off school.

Bali Hati Camp

This activity aims to train independence, discipline, mentality, struggling ability, leadership building, working together in groups, theability to survive from conditions beyond the comfortable life of students. This activity is divided into two:

a. It is a camping activity intended for elementary grades 4, 5 and 6 as well as junior high school grades 7 and 8. Bali Hati Camp activities are held at the end of odd semester at Bali Hati School area.

b. Survival Camp
It is an activity intended for the 9th grades of Junior High School and all Senior High School students. This activity is carried out outside the school area to train the mental, discipline and independence of the students. Survival camp is held at the end of the even semester.

After School

After school is a day care program for PG and Kindergarten levels which is equipped with fun learning programs such as reading, writing, counting, learning English, drawing and coloring.

Study Tour Abroad

The study abroad program specifically takes place at the high school level for grade 12 in odd semester. Students will visit one of the best universities abroad and visit a place that educates students so that they can increase their knowledge and insight with the global world.

Sport day

It is a program in which the students are invited to do sports that they like. it aims to maintain the health and develop their interest in sports.

Voluntier

Bali Hati School accepts volunteers from abroad to share their experiences in Bali. Thus, the students will have direct experience of interacting with foreigners (tourists) and are accustomed to communicating by using Englishwhich is in accordance with Bali Hati School program (every student must be able to speak English fluently).

Wall Magazine

This program is a place for students to express their creativity in terms of journalism. Students as early as possible are trained to express their ideas and thoughts in the activities of creating wall magazines.

Comfortable and Fun

Bali Hati School has a comfortable learning environment with promulgation education programs in accordance with the current eras with the concept of “making fun learning”.

Bali Hati School emphasizes on character education in which Bali Hati School does not make academic values as the main goal in education but rather emphasizes the balance between academic and non-academic developments which refers to the potential possessed by students.

Parent ID Card

It is an ID card that is given to parents to be taken every time they pick up students at Bali Hati School. It aims to protect students from things that are not desirable during the pickup.

Eco Learning

Eco learning is an activity at Bali Hati School where every student is given the opportunity to learn the science of farming and train the independence of students. Students are trained from the process of planting seeds, caring for plants, to the harvesting process. Eco learning consists of hydroponic planting, polybags and soil media.

Inclusive Program

It is an educational program that provides equal opportunities to students with special needs to join in normal learning conditions with the aim of motivating students with special needs to excel as normal students in general. The pattern of handling and learning is conceptualized with special methods according to the needs and characteristics of students including the school providing shadow teachers to facilitate the learning needs of students in inclusive classes.

Extracurricular

This activity is a self-development activity for students at Bali Hati School both in academic and non-academic areas. Extracurricular activities held at Bali Hati School is the consideration of the interests and talents of the students.

Bali Hati Studio

It is a place to develop the art skills of students in both traditional and modern fields.

a. Traditional fields: students are trained to master Balinese dance which is often performed in the community such as the Baris Gede dance for men, while for female, students are trained to master Rejang Dewa Dance for kindergarten and elementary schools, Rejang Sari Dance for junior high schools and Rejang Renteng Dance for senior high school students.

b. Modern Field: students are given the opportunity to develop their talents in the field of modern dance (fire dance, Hip hop, K-POP, and Cheerleader)

Doctor Juniors

It is an educational program to motivate students to live healthy lives. Doctor juniors is the health ambassadors for their friends to always pay attention to healthy lifestyles both in terms of food and personal hygiene of each student.

Bali Hati Gema Gempita

It is a special students’ group project to study mathematics and science. Students who are members of this group are selected students who have been tested and given the opportunity to take part in prestigious academics both at regional and national level.

Red Letter Days Celebration

This program aims to develop students’ insights on national and religious holidays. The activities of this program, including the Independence Day and other national holidays, ogoh-ogoh parade, Halloween, etc.

Students Organization

It is a program to improve student discipline. This organization will help students at the Junior High school and Senior High School level to maintain discipline by supervising other students to obey the rules at school.

Living Values

This activity teaches students about the values of life. This activity is carried out once in a week before the learning process begins.

Math Club and Science Club

Break Semester Activities

It is an activity that aims to provide relaxation to students after they take the midterm assessment. This activity contains competitions such as sports competition, academic competition, and social-culture competition.

Sharing Time dan Farewell Party

Sharing time is an activity where all students are invited to perform their creativity on the stage in the field of traditional and modern art. This activity is carried out at the end of the odd semester. While Farewell party is a parting activity that is conceptualized in such a way that students get a deep and memorable impression for their graduation moment.
